Sanemi Shinazugawa, one of the main characters in the story of "Demon Slayer", who is famous for his angry and frustrated nature.

Sanemi’s anger can be traced back to his tragic past. He was one of seven siblings, including Genya, living under the same roof with an abusive father.
Their mother, in her efforts to protect her children, would often step in and get injured in the process.
One tragic night, a demon invaded their home and killed five of the seven children, leaving only Sanemi and Genya alive.
In a desperate bid to protect his brother, Sanemi killed the demon, only to find out later that the demon was their own mother. This traumatic event, along with the blame he received from Genya for their mother’s death, ignited Sanemi’s anger and hatred towards demons.
Sanemi’s anger also mirrors his frustration with the world’s injustice. After the tragic incident, he left home and began killing demons, discovering that his blood had a unique property that attracted demons.
He joined the Demon Slayer Corps and honed his swordsmanship skills. However, he lost a close friend to a lower moon demon, which further fueled his anger.
His hostile reaction when a demon was brought to the headquarters of the Demon Slayer Corps can be seen as a manifestation of his accumulated anger and grief.

Sanemi’s standard-sized nichirin katana has slain countless demons, and his swordsmanship is often compared to that of Giyu, another highly skilled swordsman.

Another unique aspect of Sanemi’s power is his blood. His blood type is rare and exceptionally poisonous to demons.
Even a slight cut that causes him to bleed can make demons lose concentration due to their craving for his blood. This ability has proven effective even against powerful demons like Kokushibō, the Upper-Rank One.
Sanemi’s physical strength and endurance are also noteworthy. He has demonstrated exceptional control over his muscles, which allows him to prevent fatal injuries from bleeding during battles.
Due to his badass (cool) prowess, skills and endurance, he is considered a hashira who is feared and respected by all in Demon Slayer Corps.
